Summary
The Wastewater Treatment Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the wastewater treatment plant. They are tasked with developing and implementing strategies for effective treatment processes, maintenance, and plant improvements. This involves managing budgets, coordinating maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations, and overseeing contracts and relationships with service providers. The Wastewater Treatment Facility Manager also plays a crucial role in process optimization, managing effluent quality, overseeing projects related to infrastructure upgrade, and leading a team of treatment plant personnel. They focus on maximizing plant efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, improving water quality, and maintaining a safe and operational facility for the community and the environment.

Minimum Qualifications
• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related area preferred.
• State approved license preferred. (Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator & Laboratory Analysts, OHSA)
• Facility maintenance experiences preferred.
